It’s not your average café—this place brings together café classics and South Asian street food in a way that just works. The vibe is relaxed, the team is friendly, and the food? Seriously impressive. We tried the anday wala bunkebab, and it took us straight back to the streets of Karachi—loaded with flavour and that perfect eggy touch. The cheese paratha was warm, flaky, and indulgent. The fish and chips were golden and crispy, and both the club sandwich and beef burger were filling, fresh, and packed with flavour. Everything was well-prepared and served hot, with generous portions. The menu is unique, the quality is solid, and it’s a refreshing change from the usual café fare. Definitely a new favourite for us in Newcastle."

"A straight-up non pretentious place. I felt the food ranked higher than the coffee despite the name. We had a beef burger and a chicken wrap which were both fresh and tasty with flavours that showed a bit more care than most that sell this sort of fare. Would definitely go again. This is not near the main area of Darby so I guess it is a bit more for locals but we happened upon it walking across town from Merewether beach. Overall a positive experience."
